The 1st Southeast Asian Squash Junior Championships marked a significant milestone for squash enthusiasts in the region. As an inaugural event, it represented a remarkable step forward in developing and promoting the sport at the junior level. The tournament was organized with the goal of providing a platform for young athletes to showcase their skills and compete at the regional level. 

A total of 70 players from various Southeast Asian countries, including Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, the Philippines, and more, took part in the championship. These young squash talents displayed their passion, dedication, and commitment to the sport throughout the event.
